the reason why i've been absent
🕑 Added 2023-03-11 18:27:02 +0000 UTCHello! I just wanted to say I've been absent a lot these past months, and I finally acknowledged the reason why.
Behind the scenes, i've been creating animations and characters from time to time. I have rendered a couple of animations, obviously they don't have any sound, but i could easily add it, it could take some time editing the video, but that's minor business.
What has been taking a lor from me, and my time, is Story telling.
I have been brainstorming, and writting story for my animations, but I sometimes feel like isn't enough, and or you won't like it. So I end up scrapping it or yknow, making the animations for the story and not finish writting it, so i end up with nothing to post. I do have to improve on my workflow, I know that. But The mere reason why i started to do Story on my projects was because there was a time where i couldn't record. Now i can, and with more quality as before. SO, I was thinking of scrapping the story segment of my projects, or maybe i could receive some help by somebody who does like making stories. But I should really be focusing on my animations and not so much on their story. Please let me know what you think, I'm very interested in hearing your opinion about this situation. Would you like to receive more animations over more story? or the other way around.

Maybe you could incorporate bits of story into the animations with subtitles, or find ways to add just bits of story and context with the animations that isn't as time consuming?

I think just focusing on animations of sexy little vignette scenarios with sound would be best. That way you can always finish your projects and have them complete with sexy, visuals and sexy sounds even if they’re just one offs. It will allow you to explore your creativity and different scenes and characters

You could always draw inspiration from already written stories from Nifty. Or you can create cards that have elements of stories (a character on one card with a name, age, body type, personality - or several cards with each of these things - and on another card a location, and on another card a plot twist, etc) and then just mix and match. Do it randomly even.

I really like your stories, I think that without a story the animations are not worth much. it's up to you to do what you love the most. I think it's important to do what you love most about your job, if it's animations then doing more if it's stories then more stories. Either way, I love everything you do.
