Big Frank on the Edge
🕑 Added 2022-10-15 20:54:25 +0000 UTCThe first thing that had surprised Big Frank when he had come to Porky’s place was how ordinary it looked. Just another apartment on the ground floor of a condo in a nondescript residential area. With Porky’s real name on the doorbell: Andrew Porcellino.
“Porcellino is Italian for piglet,” Porky had said as he ushered Big Frank in. “So, you see, ‘Porky’ is not just a nickname. It’s also my real name.”
He had said that in such a jolly, good-natured way that Big Frank felt all the fight drain out of him. Suddenly, he didn’t have a thing to prove, he wasn’t answering a challenge any more. He was simply… curious.
Even the place looked extraordinarily ordinary. It could have been anybody’s place. Except for the books. A quick glance told Big Frank that Porky didn’t just know his comic books, but also had quite a range of interests. Big Frank was beginning to feel a little dumb. Porky offered him a drink and they sat down in the living room. They started to talk.
Soon, the conversation turned to Big Frank’s Big Question – what exactly was Porky’s power over men?
“But I don’t have any power,” Porky laughed.
“Aw, come on,” Big Frank protested, “we both know you do. The way those guys are attracted to you… I mean, I’ve never seen that in a dom… Or a top… Or anybody, for that matter…”
Porky smiled. His face was full of gentle kindness.
“I just give those men what they want – love and respect.”
As if desirous to prove his point, Porky got up, opened the door at the back of the living room and called out to somebody: “Jorgito! Comme to Papa!”
And as Porky was walking back to his seat, in walked the guy that Big Frank had seen Porky with at the bar several times – a fifty-something balding bearded man called Jorge. He was only wearing a pair of briefs and fetters on his wrists and ankles. He kneeled at Porky’s side and crossed his arms behind his back. Porky began to pet him, like he would a dog.
“That’s a good boy! You’re such a good boy!”
Big Frank was flabbergasted. He had never seen or heard of any dom treating his subs that way. He himself certainly hadn’t!
Big Frank wondered if Porky treated all his subs that way. And was it really all there was to his “power”?

You nailed it! I must admit that now that I re-read it, I must have been influenced by this Japanese furry artist, Kas, who does hypnosis stories, especially that one story, "Stockholm Syndrome", which he posted excerpts from on Twitter. The way I see it, hypnotic power only goes so far and you cannot make somebody do something they wouldn't make while fully "awake". It just lowers your inhibitions. So I imagine that Porky's "power" is to make men get in touch with their sub side and accept it.

Never underestimate the power of love. And as we see with this fifty-something man, he feels safe. And that is what give Porky the "power", he makes his "sub" feel love, respected and safe. And it is interesting how comfortable Jorge looks. Having the thought that he cannot escape, the truth is that Jorge somehow wants to be unable to escape. There is something familiar with the whole story.
