Knock off Game Boys
🕑 Added 2024-09-29 01:53:23 +0000 UTCI've had these consoles laying around for a while. Probably too long.... and if things are left for too long - as we all know - they sometimes break. I really didn't want to have to purchase any of these again, SO, it was time to make a video about them.
I also had to borrow a few from Stuart Ashen, because if I'm gonna make a video about knock off Game Boys, then I really need to cover them all.

What you've said at the end is right. I had a Super Vision when I was in elementary school and I remember having, sincerely, a lot of fun with it. Ok, there are many bad games on that thing and some of them have stolen music (Block Buster) and stolen sprites (Super Kong and probably more) but still, most of them managed to entertain me quite well! They are all discount versions of better games but some have honestly good ideas (I still think that Eagle Plan and Untouchables are very, very cool and that Grand Prix - with muted audio - is enjoyable)! Also, that italian commercial... I've completely forgot about that! And I love how the italian boxes for the Gamate straight up lie about the game inside: wonderful, wonderful marketing!

I just have to say this: "gamate" in Greek means "you are f*ing". I do remember some magazine ads back in the day. They didn't go well.
