I tend to agree with Glenn about the audio-only format, although I also enjoyed your script and was benefited by it. Thanks for that, for the info. and for the whole podcast

I have Gottlob Türk‘s book always near my keyboard. Whenever something in a score is unclear to me I look into it. In difference to CPE Bachs Versuch his descriptions are very precise and he gives multiple note examples. Bachs descriptions are not so clear to me and in the Reprint of Bach‘s Versuch the note examples are on a bunch of big copper plate prints(like in the original). This was due to technical limitations in CPE‘s time but it makes looking up things really hard. So I prefer Türk all the time!

Thank you, Wim. I am not a big fan of the audio-only format. Blame it on me being such a visual learner. Your previous podcasts were a bit difficult for me to completely "digest". (Maybe some of the blame is my age?) HOWEVER, by providing me a copy of your script and the slides I was able to re-read through passages a second time to make sure I got the full meaning of your words. I also realize that I may not be as casual a consumer of your materials as some of your Patreon supporters might be. I do try to critically evaluate not just your content, but also how you present it. I do it this way so that if I have points you might wish to expand in greater detail in a subsequent podcast. This could be supporting documentation or additional illustrations to support your points. In summation, I like the way you approach the materials you are presenting. I find you keep my interest throughout. If in the future you would prefer I privately email my comments to you I would be happy to oblige you.
