Shelved By Genre Bonusode: The Road Warrior (1981)
🕑 Added 2025-06-13 14:33:50 +0000 UTCWe took a little trip out to the postapocalypse to see what we could learn and all we came back with are some style tips. Be careful where you're standing if you're wearing assless chaps. If you're wearing a helmet, you need the accompanying medals for your chest. The biggest the hair, the more likely you are to live in a hole in the ground. Anyway, we watched The Road Warrior.
Check it out in the Shelved By Genre bonusode post!

Do you have a link to the green/grey screen article Cameron mentioned? I can't find it, but I'd be very interested to read it.

George Miller did not direct Babe, that was Chris Noonan. Apologies if this already came up in the Discord, but this is kind of like the situation with Henry Selick and Nightmare Before Christmas where the wrong person often is given credit. I wanted to highlight this one in particular because, from what I have heard, George Miller was very mean to Chris Noonan and tried to wrestle control away from him. But it is very much Chris Noonan's film, and I personally take great pleasure in knowing that when Miller had full control, his pig movie tanked at the box office.
