My Marathon Training Starts Today
🕑 Added 2024-12-16 19:39:12 +0000 UTCI started training for an indoor marathon that will take place in two months here in Norway. I will document the process of trying to get ready to run a pretty fast marathon (my goal is to at least run a sub 3h but I hope for a bit faster than that as well). Here is a video from the start to my marathon training where I talk about what I need to focus on to get myself ready in this short time for a marathon preparation. Yeah I will use a combination of mileage and km trying to play it safe, I will see how my body responds but I think I will not run more than 80km at my peak week.

It was mainly because I wanted to try a marathon but all the ones I looked int where sold out. Then I found this one that is just a 40min train ride from where I live and completely snow free :)

Very interested to see how you go about things! What promoted the decision to do an indoor event? I know that you will set an excellent time – far exceeding that sub-3 hour target!!!

How will you make sure you don't run to far so you don't get an injury? Do you plan on using mileage and if so how much will you run in your peak-week? Good luck on your goal!
