Oh clearly, and she acknowledge herself in that page that it wasn't RIGHT to do, just that she did out out of necessity; she doesn't really care whether she gets *sympathy* for her past struggles or not, she mostly wants out and believes that she didn't deserve to be left alone to handle everything and has paid more than enough for whatever people would condamn her for.

I feel like even with this explanation her daughter will still not like her. Correct me if I'm wrong but it sounds like Laurelyn had her daughter and raised her in an emotionally abusive manner with the ultimate goal of ending her own life early just to get out of the long life. Not a good look.
