That's a reasonable idea. If you've got a side-mounted fan in the case that pumps straight into the blower, it could assist. You will still be limited by the ability of the copper and aluminum to sink the heat (dissipation only gets you so far -- still need conduction to keep up), but it could certainly help!

I encountered an interesting idea on reddit the other day. Pretty simple really, attach a 90mm fan over the top of the blower fan on a reference cooler. Or if you use an RX 480, a fan on both sides. Theory was, if you actively feed the blower fan you should be able to get equivalent or better cooling for lower RPMs. Just a thought, I found the idea intriguing, but I don't have any reference cooler cards to test it with.

You know those water walls in between glass in businesses. Maybe exclude the power supply but do something like that.

I double dare you! Get some non conductive fluid and submerge an entire PC in it. There must be flow obviously. Test that. Do so in a way that you can still access the ports you need to be able to access. Maybe a water fall directly over the mobo and components. Use some junk PC. Maybe you can add something to the fluid to increase its thermal properties. You know those water walls in between glass in businesses. Maybe exclude the power supply but do something like that.

Heyyo, "the GTX 1060 review"? Interesting! Do I smell a hybird GTX 1060 coming up too!? Haha your hybird videos make me really ponder about doing a frankenstein liquid cooling mod for my R9 390... but it still has warranty haha :P
