GDDR vs. DDR Memory?

Just a bit more; My standard build mode, when using H212's (or any similar), is Vertical orientation. I've found this to pretty effective & aesthetically pleasing to my OCD side. HOWEVER, It did make me think & now I'm testing that specific layout. It's in a AF 540 Case, so there is a lot of space to play with. Which makes me ask if convection & even cavitation between 3 fans so close together? The tri-fan video card did not seem to effect the Tc significantly, nor did it seem to cause any other significant variations from Ambient. thoughts??? Thanks.
Steve-O; Any possibility of expanding on the "Horizontally Oriented CPU Fan/Heatsink" question in AskGN#17 Patreon Post? Reasoning; We have a build in the shop now, one of my techs just oriented the H212 Evo Horizontally, in push/pull (Corsair SP120 - STATIC PRESSURE, Not RGB, to clarify). This, on a LGA2011 RoG board.
#askGN Do you plan on including Linux in your future testing. Maybe comparisons of EvilCorpOS and Linux. Would you consider using the Phoronix Test Suite for benchmarking? I know it is a small market but it might grow fast in the near future as level1tech and LTT started a series about this. More coverage from credible sources like yourself might help the development of Linux gaming in general.
My Enermax Liqtech TR4 360mm went to crap after 3-4 months and by 6 months was causing thermal throttle as soon as the 1950X inched off idle. Replaced it with a Noctua NH-U14S TR4-SP3 and been trucking along no worries with 24/7 compute.
