🕑 Added 2015-11-12 22:56:24 +0000 UTC Hey Folks,Just a quick update for you regarding the latest videos.
I've got 4 videos on the go at the moment; one is the next clock project video showing the fabrication of the click and clickspring, and the other three are 'spare parts' videos that I've spun off from the main feature video.
I had expected to have just the one spare parts video this month as well as the feature, and so I was planning to have 2 videos already out to you by now. But as you've no doubt experienced yourself, there's often a need to make tools, to make tools,... etc to get the main job done. As I was completing a few of those side processes off camera, I found myself saying "... you know I really should be filming this".
So the next video drop is a little bit delayed to include 2 additional videos. One is the fabrication of a new component for the bluing tray kit, and the other is the full process of making a specialist milling cutter using common shop processes and materials, both of which I think will turn out to be worthwhile vids.
I expect I should have all 4 new videos out for you to enjoy in about 2 weeks.

Hi Chris. Thank you for your work in these videos. Your camerawork and voice combined with this subjectmatter is really soothing and inspiring to watch. I have never used metal forming tools before, but your videos makes we want to buy a lathe. I just bingewatched every video you have on youtube, both on the clickspring and make channels. Now I am experiencing withdrawals.... Hopefully your next installment is not far away. I find the process that you show with tempering and quenching of the metals very intriguing. Do you have any plans to do a more detailed video on this?

Thanks for the update Chris. I am certain that I am not the only one who really appreciates the tool builds and other small projects that you must do in order to move forward with the clock build as these videos often inspire me and provide insights into other projects that I have in mind. I also recognize that it takes a bit of time and effort to produce the high-quality videos that you post, which are a reflection of your craftsmanship as well as the type pf person you are. Even this update shows that you are a man of integrity, so no worries mate as it's all good!
