Hi Ken, each episode post has the plans for the components in that video as a link beneath the video, and there is a complete set of plans linked beneath Ep 10: https://www.patreon.com/posts/byzantine-part-26515532 - Cheers :)

I was wondering where I could find the link to download the drawings for the Byzantine Sundial-Calendar, love your work thanks
PeetieGonzalez
Why don't you put these out publicly, Chris? I feel privileged to get early access via Patreon, but I can't imagine a single one of us would mind if these were eventually released on broader YouTube terms. After all... they are family friendly, ad-friendly content, and I for one would love to be able to share them with a wider audience.

Currently on hold while I publish some research - Cheers :)

Hey man I got to ask what is the status of the other project?
Clickspring
Thank you mate - the engraving turned out to be one of the best fun parts of the project - Cheers :)

The engravings are so amazingly beautiful, I cannot stop watching the engraving part... Seeing it all coming together also is so safisfying to see after all this time
Richard Henderson
The satisfaction of seeing the final assembly cannot be understated. Can you offer a short description/link, which gives a bit more in-depth description of the eclipse prediction wheel settings and how to read them? I’m sorting through the previous episodes to piece it together but thought you might have it all down in one location. Thanks and happy holidays.
Jannes Verlinde
This is amazing craftsmanship, keep doing what you do, Chris!
Clayton Firth
Wow.. Thanks Chris, it was jaw dropping watching this come together.
veritanuda
Excellent completion and I love how it is so original it has the original errors included it in ;) Seriously it is excellent work and an excellent series to watch. Thank you so very much.. Happy Christmas mate!
Tom Wazny
Great work, was great to see this come together
Groovy1024

Its Friday, the 13th of December. After a long day at work you come home, tired and exhausted. Your mind craves relaxation, but not just the kinds of medias you have been watching for the last few weeks, months and, in some cases, years. You do your weekly check with your patreon page, and get rewarded. Excitement dares to unfold in your mind. You watch the video, and you enjoy it. The visuals, the sounds, the background music, everything just comes together to a festival of relaxing and enjoyable entertainment. Not only are you entertained, you feel civilised, more civilized than any dry stirred martini could ever make you feel. You feel the urge to applaud, even though you are sitting in your study alone. It was just what you needed after that long time of crave. And then you check back on the first post on the series and realize that it was almost exactly three years before this final part. The cherry on top of this perfect composition.
Have loved watching the series you are a true master! Great editing for what must be 1000’s of hours of work! Am looking forward to what comes next
Gary Levario
Great video as always. Great project really. Can't wait for the 1000 hr cut. Definitely let me know when and where you publish you Antikythera mechanism paper.
Benny
Hi Chris. I noticed in the background of some shots of the BSC sitting on your bench, there is a 90-100mm (??) diameter PVC pipe mounted under the 25mm PVC pipe that contains the cabling for your GPOs. What is the larger pipe for??
Clickspring
Cheers Kenneth!

Clickspring
Great to have you watching mate, and appreciate your support :)
John P
I get that it's traditional but I'm not a fan of the engraving style you're using. Not a criticism, obviously, just a matter of taste. That said, watching you do the work was still engrossing, and you've got a great voice to listen to.
Clickspring
Its very much a mixed feeling - I'm glad to have it over the line, but it also feels a little bit odd that its all finished :)
Clickspring
Cheers mate :)

A Clickspring assembly.. it's quite an event!! Congratulations Chris, your work is my preferate source of inspiration. Thank you!
Kyle Purintun
*speechless*
PeetieGonzalez
A wonder to behold. I am still absolutely primed with excited anticipation for news of your exploits with the Antikythera mechanism, and just as much for your complete build. I hope your voice gets better... you do seem to have remnants of a cold in this one. Take care, mate.
m_tini
You did it Again. What sort of feelings do you have when finishing a large project like this? I always seems to get a little nervice when doing the final assembly. As if I have not done it dozens of time during the build.
A1BASE
Even after watching this entire series I still don’t understand how this thing does what it does. It BLOWS my mind that the original designer figured this out so long ago.
A1BASE
I’d also like to say that that is the most overly complicated bloody screwdriver I’ve ever seen! 😂
Chris
Chris I'm a little confused at how this much artistry snuck into your cat video!
Michael Lloyd
Only a true craftsman would leave the gift of engraving and bluing INSIDE the case of the device. Amazing and beautiful work. I'm happy that it's completed and a little sad that it's over... so get back to work LOL
Absolutely gorgeous.
Adam Slagle
I’m amazed at the finished product. It’s a work of art, and it didn’t lessen the impact one bit that I followed it step by step in the making. In fact, it’s only enhanced my appreciation. Gorgeous work, Chris!
Brandon
You made me wait. You made me wait so long. But it was soooo worth it!
Clifton Ballad
Now I have to back and watch the whole series again... Your QC department is awesome. Glad they approve. I think the best summation of the level and quality of the work you do is that you went to the effort of doing a beautiful engraving job on parts on the inside of the mechanism. Most people would have left them slightly rough just because "you cant see it from my house" just to save a bit of time and here you go making it as fancy as can be, so that 1000's of years from now some poor archaeologist will be looking at a fancy 3d Xray of your part wondering why they put so much effort on the inside... Cheers and congratulations on the beautiful work! -Clif (PS can you do a 1000 hours style vid of this build as well? Please?? :) )
Boguslaw Smalec
Excelent as always. Can't wait for the next project!
Chris Muncy
Chris, I don't what it is, but your videos have a very calming effect on me. Glad I watched this in the afternoon when I needed a great distraction. Beautiful work as always.
Clickspring
Ha ha! Thank you mate :)
Duncan Luddite
Congratulations Chris ^^^What they all said :D ^^^
Clickspring
Thank you mate - I think you're right on the oiler nib. Honestly, it didn't even occur to me to use it!
Jeff Armstrong
Brilliant video as ever. I noticed that you used the scriber to apply the Loctite. I would have thought the oiler pen would have been a better choice. In my own shop I've used a 23G hypodermic needle - with the tip ground off square - as a pen to apply Loctite to the 1 & 2 mm machine screws I use on my project.
Clickspring
Thanks very much Stu :)
Clickspring
It was! Very relieved when the last cuts were complete! - Cheers mate :)

Fantastic work as always, just a joy to watch
alex chrgeer
I love seeing these things come together, they always look soo nice.
MrTridac
I'm sorry. I described you as a clock maker once. I think that was an insult.
A1BASE
Congrats Chris. Cracking job.
Andrew Pratt
Another work of art Chris, you'll have many a horological museum envious.
Ingo
Absolutely lovely result and I enjoyed the journey at least as much if not more.

Magik Eh
Woot! It has been a great journey, the project, the craftsmanship, and the cinematography are always a treat. Thank you for doing what you do Chris! <3
William Crowell
I feel like I'm watching Rob Damn a while back when everyone was asking "where's the 4 rotor Rob?". But now it's "where's the antikythera, Chris?". We all know it's coming but the suspense is killing me!
Well worth the wait. Thank you Chris for taking the time to showcase your craftsmanship with metals, but the video production as well. 10/10. I can't wait for the next project to begin.
Paul Busby
Yay, So good to watch. That engraving work is magic. Any sneak peeks on what the next project will be?
Gordon Burns
What a lovely piece, especially reaching to the sun. your engraving skills have been well learned, Chris. Well done, mate.
I’m so glad I found your channel, your craftsmanship is amazing, can’t wait to see what you do next!
Scott Clausen
I can not say enough how much I have enjoyed your videos. I learn something each time as well as appreciating your abilities. The only downside is that there is now a wait until the next project. Until then I'll just have to rewatch some of the old project videos. Thanks again, Chris.
Tim Crothers
Fantastic end to a fantastic series Chris. They are all equal parts mesmerizing and inspiring.
Derek Meisenhelder
