Sorry to keep you waiting, but here we are. January’s Turning the Page update! We are very excited to share it with you and think it will definitely have been worth the wait! Here it is:
For those of you who are curious, here’s what’s in it:
- 3 New CGs
- 1 New Animation
- Additional Art (1)
- 42k Words
- 17 Additional SFX

Now, unfortunately, we have a bit of bad news. As we’ve alluded to, both Operae and Mint have been experiencing some health issues for the last few months, causing our progress to slow. We have tried working through our weekends to try to counteract that lost time, but it has been quite demanding on our sanity. Operae in particular has been a trooper. There was one day in December where he literally fainted, went to the hospital, and then returned home to continue working in order to finish the update on time.
We probably would have been able to deliver it on time as well if Mint didn’t also experience some fairly severe problems. Although some of the issues he has been suffering from seem like they are on the mend, he has a few that have gotten worse. As a result, he is going to have to take some time to visit doctors, get tests and a whole slew of other unpleasant but necessary tasks. He put that off for a while to try to finish the update on time, but at the end of the day, he can’t delay things forever.
Although Furoshiki and Operae are going to continue working full steam ahead, Mint will not be able to work full time, which will definitely result in a delay of next month’s update. In addition, by now we are usually well into development on the next update. As things currently stand, we haven’t even written the scene-by-scene breakdown, which is the very first thing we usually do. So, suffice it to say, we are behind. Between those factors and the shortened month in February, we do not believe it is likely that we will be able to deliver anything within the month. It is a marginal possibility, and we will do our best to give you one, but we don’t want to deceive you and pretend like it is probable.
That being said, due to our financial situation, pausing payments simply isn’t viable for us, as we are living paycheck to paycheck. As a result, we won’t be doing so. However, out of courtesy and decency, we felt like we needed to admit the very significant possibility that we won’t be able to deliver in that time period. Although we wish things worked out another way, we didn’t feel it was right to simply say nothing and proceed as if things were going smoothly behind the scenes.
That being said, we do have hope that things will take a turn for the better. We will, of course, keep you updated on how things progress a little more often than usual, given the circumstances. Speaking honestly, we feel the most likely outcome is that the next update will come out early in March, although we cannot say anything specific yet for obvious reasons.
We really appreciate the support that you have given us over the past year and we are very sorry for the inconvenience that this unfortunate situation has caused. We hope to be back to normal and releasing updates at our usual pace in the near future.

First of all, as everybody already said, please take care of yourself, we can survive a delay that's for sure ! Secondly, what an update ! Loved everything on it, from the teasing on texts at the start, the tension between Sophie and Amy, and to the final scene ! Really amazing, looking forward to the next update but please take all the time you need to take care of yourself!

All of us are a bit masochistic or we wouldn't like NTR so much. Your form of masochism is pushing yourselves so hard - just understand that sometimes you can use the Safe Word and take a break, and we'll understand. It's okay to reach your limit, but to go past it can result in longterm damage so please take care of yourselves guys! By the way, the Safe Word is "MORE" lol.

While I of course will miss an update, I think monthly updates of the scale you typically deliver for the team size you have were kind of on the crazy side to start with. Just planning to update every 1.5 months would give you the wiggle room you need. And, it's not that much of a delay overall.

I don't mind one bit if you skipped the next update entirely and focus on getting better. One less update a year is much better than trying to work trough the sickness, since that will only make it worse and it will snow ball out of control. And remember, even if everyone gets better and it looks like you could release an update sooner than you thought, DON'T RUSH HEALTH! Use that time to ease into the next update slot, there's no point in a rest period if you come back to rush twice as bad! It has burned me in the past and I don't want to see it happen to anyone!

Thanks for the update! Don't worry about not releasing the following update on any specific schedule. Health is more important; if you need to delay it indefinitely, do it.

No need to feel sorry! Looks like we've all hard a rough start, some more than others, in 2024 with almost everything.... getting sick here and there and feeling terrible... Please take good care of yourselves, I've always mentioned before to take time for yourselves. This is no inconvenience, at least to me, take things at your own pace, or more over, let your health have the priority. Here for full support regardless of whatever happens, don't push yourselves in the moment of need! Best wishes you guys get well soon, feeling out of it really takes it out of you and is very mentally draining.

Defiantly take care off your self, and your health first, we all love you game, so would rather wait 1-2 month more if that what i took, so that you got healthy again, Hope you all get better soon <3

Got ill myself for 2 weeks, could have been probably just for a few days, but I refused to visit my doctor. Therefore I had to suffer for 2 weeks. Moral of the story, don't neglect your health, stay safe everybody!
