Solar light and useful openscad script
🕑 Added 2024-07-10 13:19:32 +0000 UTCA look at Poundland's biggest solar light. It's got a really nice large-diameter globe for other projects like an ambient night light.
I've also included a script in the description for making a stand for it, but the script also has many other uses.

Agreed, unless you're cropping and bending the leads prior to soldering - but then that's an abhorrent practice if the component needs replacing in future...

That may be mil-spec. Cropping leads before soldering, but I doubt. Northrop Grumman Corp, Lockheed Martin Corp. Boeing Corp. are really watching out for that on the factory Floor. Let alone the others.

I've cropped after soldering my whole career of 40+ years. That includes working on avionics, radioactive safety equipment and medical devices.
