The cutest little "street light"
🕑 Added 2024-07-03 18:25:16 +0000 UTCI wonder how long one of these would actually last if mounted on a real lamp post. It puts out a useable level of light at very low power, but has no smoothing, meaning it is best suited to outdoor areas or places you're not actively working on stuff.

I've never quite worked that out either. Maybe they think that introducing something grounded into their electrical system poses more of a hazard.

I really don't understand why Chinese manufacturers go to the trouble of including an earth wire on the cable and then not connecting it to the case. Especially if they know enough to mention grounding in the instructions.

Cheap enough for a worklight on the bench, with just a rewire, and a different or modified bracket.
