Fixing an LED "neon" ornament

This video shows three ways to fix it, and then I do a repair of the original strip.

It was to see how it had failed, and show an option for when they can't be fed from the other end.

Feeding from the other end was a brilliant idea, wouldn't need to make a slit. Why did you choose not to do that ?
