Derigging our lighting gantries with a rail system
🕑 Added 2024-08-26 23:40:28 +0000 UTCI'm not aware of any other venue that uses this system. I suggested it during the design of the new stadium, and it has been very helpful indeed in moving the high number of extremely heavy lights we use.

that would work, you could reverse them and fire Clive back up into the rigging. 🤣 arms and legs flapping in the wind.
Dustin S Cochran
Add some electromagnetic braking to the track.
DC Allan
🤣 true, I can just see catching them as they fly past.
Curtis Hoffmann
That's ok. We can just put in disclaimers in the mandatory release forms.
Big Clive
Zip line with sharp steel cable hooks on both sides.
Big Clive
That would be great, but the light would probably be travelling at 100mph by the time it got to the bottom.
DC Allan
Now you just need to rail to run to the van loading area. Helter-skelter style 2x👍

Cool !!
Mike Page
Much more better!

Zip line! Sell tickets!

Nice system. None of my browsers would allow me to view this. Only the Patreon one.
Big Clive
It is actually a meat hook system.
Richard Lackie
Hello Clive I like that system it reminds me of the overhead that they use to move head sides of beef in a slaughter house . you would think they would use rubber wheels .
Big Clive
It is annoyingly loud. Something with rubber edged wheels would have been nicer.
Mark Trombley
I can see somebody suddenly stopping and getting whacked in the head with a piece of equipment.

Was it that loud in person? Do you wear earphones?
