USB powered LED flea trap
🕑 Added 2024-12-17 19:16:33 +0000 UTCI showed this on the weekend stream. It hasn't caught anything in my house yet, but that's good. Because I'm not aware of any bug infestation.
It's debatable whether heat and light are both needed for catching fleas, but reviews do hint at it working.

We used to put a candle in a saucer of water and the little buggers would either drown or bake.

hmm typical, even cheaping out on the uv leds. hahaha

I'd say they're just deep violet.

Are they actual UV leds or just purple ? (did you test with your crad detector?)

I don't think Clive's house is warm enough to satisfy fleas

Did you buy it from flea bay or a flea market?! π€π€£

If, when summer comes, the cats here get fleas I shall purchase an LED one and compare - lots of outside cats here and other wildlife so if a cat catches fleas from a hedgehog or fox they all have them. I think that heat is required as I have had fleas jump onto my leg (though it is pale and white) but I am willing to try.
