🕑 Added 2025-08-29 02:42:38 +0000 UTCI've finally got time to finish a few videos I recorded while working on the REMT (Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo). Here's one of them.
I'm back in Gotham City (Glasgow) for a week before heading back to the usual workbench, and after a fairly heavy load out of the show (we completed most of it in two days) I'm sleeping a lot and every joint in my body seems to be aching at once!
But rest assured that I'm also out buying more random gadgets for us to explore.

It's a very dim old-skool gallium phosphide green LED with an unusually high value resistor in series. So it should be rugged.

They are most likely trying to use the LED across the motor to reduce some of the back emf, that LED will have a short life expectancy.
