A device popularised as being a healing or calming device because it can be set to oscillate at roughly the same frequency as an electromagnetic waveform that is produced between earth and the ionosphere. And rather conveniently that frequency is around the same as one produced by the brain when it is in a relaxed state. Therefore the brain is "tuned to an earth frequency" and you can force a relaxed state by just banging out a similar frequency......
I'll let you draw your own conclusions on this. But if you need to research it, here's a gadget that hints at transmitting a similar frequency.

Let's see, 7.83 Hz wavelength ... for a quarter-wave antenna, that track should be 9578 km long. I think it's gonna need a bigger spiral. :)

I got a Schumann resonator a few years ago, but it did nothing for me. I saw an addition to amplify the output (coil/transistor/diode/resistor) but have lost the apparatus to see if it makes any difference.
