Is Philips now a zombie brand?
🕑 Added 2025-09-17 18:21:02 +0000 UTCI bought this little light thinking that it was probably just stealing the Philips name, but it looks like it is a product that is licencing the name like so many other zombie brands like Duracell.
On a plus note, they have done a decent job of giving this light some design and software features worthy of a posh brand.

Philips make more profit from licencing their name than they ever did designing, manufacturing and selling their own products. I was at the Philips museum in Eindhoven last month, it's sad to see their history has lead to this.
