Beautiful Street Decor
The streets are decorated with Parisian buildings, cafes with outdoor seating, and more, including iconic Morris columns showcasing beautiful ads designed by bbygyal123.
Functional Parfumerie
An interactive shop where you can purchase functional perfumes. There are 4 different scents with custom buffs. Storefront window design by bbygyal123.
Functional Pâtisserie
An interactive shop where you can purchase macarons and petits gateaux. So far you can order 3 sweet treats, but I plan to expand the menu in future updates! Storefront window design by bbygyal123.
Foxbury Campus Overhaul
I personally hated the sleek modern look of Foxbury, so I've replaced the buildings to look more like Britechester university. Note: I did my best to preserve the core Foxbury object interactions, but my focus was aesthetics first, so there may be a slightly 'imperfect' experience for sims attending Foxbury university.
Coffee Cart Overhaul
The university coffee carts have a new design and a new expanded menu, featuring food & drinks from various packs such as croissants, crepes, macarons and café lattes. (Only food from packs you own will work.)
Paris-Inspired CC
New objects that you can use to decorate your own builds, including a functional espresso machine for the obligatory french cafe. Find cc in build/buy by searching "paris" or "lijoue".

INSTALLATION NOTES
(IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!)
This mod has two components that need to be installed in two different locations.
Mods
The folder called "Paris World CC" should be placed directly in your "Mods" folder like normal cc.
Areas
The folder called "Areas" has three .world files that correspond to the 3 neighbourhoods in Britechester.
These .world files must be placed in the "areas" folder for EP08 (Discover University), replacing the EA world files with the exact same names. The path to find the correct folder will vary depending on your setup, but it should be something like this:
Applications / The Sims 4 / delta / EP08 / Worlds / Areas
OR
c:/ Program Files / Electronic Arts / The Sims 4 / delta / EP08 / Worlds / Areas
Please note, this is NOT in the same “the sims 4” folder that has mods.
For Mac users, you have to right-click The Sims 4 app icon and select "show package contents" to see the folder. From there the path is the same as above.
The three .world files are OVERRIDES which means you should be REPLACING the original EP08 .world files. If you don't see the exact same .world files to overwrite, then you're in the wrong place.
PLEASE BACKUP YOUR ORIGINAL EP08 FILES BEFORE REPLACING THEM.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Usually when there's a patch for new pack, the game will automatically revert back to the original EA .world files. All you have to do is replace them with the modded files again.
*Please send me a private message if you need help installing the mod correctly. *
Lighting
THIS MOD IS BUILT WITH SUNBLIND BY SOFTERHAZE. THESE ARE OVERRIDES. If there's a different lighting mod you want to use, you would have manually edit the files yourself. Each .world file functions independently, so they shouldn't impact your other worlds. This means you can have Milk Thistle lighting mod in Willow Creek, but Britechester will still have Sunblind lighting.

Update 1.01 (29.02.2024) | Please delete old files & localthumbcache
- Tested with latest patch version on Mac and PC. (PC: 1.105.332.1020 / Mac: 1.105.332.1220)
- Fixed Pâtisserie not working on owned lots.
- Minor updates to townhouses & Parfumerie location
- All perfumes now have live drag component & can be placed in inventory / storage
- Adjusted Ad Columns to reduce plane-fighting when zoomed out.

I’m sorry but I have followed these instructions uncountable times I did it step by step slowly and in all right areas. I’ve also downloaded all the different places with all the correct cc. All I am getting is the worlds in my gallery saying “item corrupted” and no world changes?? I know you have said the mod works but maybe something has gone wrong because I can’t seem to get this to work and looking at all the comments a lot of people have struggled with this too please please help me!!

I can't tell if its working. I downloaded twice, followed all the instructions (I use mods often no problem). Do I have to visit a certain area or does it show up on the map? Everything looks the same. I looked for all EP08 world files and replaced them. CC is in mod folder and everything else in tray folder.

Please double check: the recent game patch turned off mods, you have to turn them back on. The patch also reset the world files, you have to replace them again. You must also delete your localthumbcache as instructed. If you are still having issues, please dm me, I cannot troubleshoot in the comments.

It would be so great if you could make something like Felixandres crepes stall. Unfortunately, he has not updated it and I really liked having crepes in my game. Whats more parisian then various pastries and street crepes? :)

Thank you for fixing Patisserie shell. I also noticed that plate didnt disappear when sims finished eating like they usually do when ordering something from food stalls. Also, the plate turned into a bowl when empty.

BEFORE YOU COMMENT “IT DOESN’T WORK” The mod works fine if you properly follow the detailed instructions in the post. I have tested it on Mac and PC and Linux. Please DM me if you need help figuring it out.

Thank you! The shops are in the world near the big 50x40 lot in the middle of town (if you use bbygyal123's build, it's near the eiffel tower.) You can also find them in build/buy by searching "paris" or "Lijoue" if you want to use them for your own builds!

If you install both parts correctly, the world environment should change. Are you sure you properly followed the installation notes in the post? There's a chance you may have another EP08 folder, in which case, make sure you replace the areas in both EP08 folders.
