As much as I loved reading MC/Adrian shenanigans, I think the light revelations and future snippets sprinkled in took the stage here. Her? "Merlin's" introduction? MERLIN PASSIVELY READING SURFACE THOUGHTS AND INTENTIONS??? Mention of Lancelot and Galehaut? Adrian recalling MC's striptease (fencing route I think? ADRIAN'S BRAIN STATIC?? Adrian secretly sending jealous and low-key possessive + dangerous vibes towards an ALL-SEEING Merlin?? A restaurant burning down with the circle present? I love the suspense but wtf is going on
