We owned multiple cats throughout most of my life, up until a few years ago when our nearly 25 year old cat that we got as a kitten finally died. And this is spot on. They can be loving sometimes, but a LOT of the time, they could care less and just do their own thing π

It works the opposite way too ... have a dog that loves the visitor = means nothing; have a cat that loves the visitor = good person.
