I thought i hadn't heard of Mari Kotani but after looking at her wikipedia i found out i'd recently read her interview with Ikuhara which was incredibly interesting, its a serious bummer more of her stuff isn't available. Will certainly check out By Your Side tyty for the recomendation! Idk if it's of interest to other people but out of the blue a few days ago a friend of mine shot me PDFs of: Shojo Across Media: Exploring "Girl" Practices in contemporary Japan, Women's Manga in Asia and Beyond. I've only dipped into them but skimming the contents was super interesting.
