You know, I first outlined this chapter like, ten years ago, and the boar here has been a constant throughout all the revisions. It's a fun twist of fate that I finally got to draw it during the Chinese Year of the Boar. Festive!

Conjuring a light behind his head to enhance their heroic pose is simultaneously the coolest and nerdiest thing Duane has ever done.
More multi part observations: 1) They like this 2) They like this a LOT 3) Do they like this too much? 4) Meh, you gotta take fun where you can get it sometimes 5) It looks like they have done this before. 6) I love the details with momentum in the first three panels. In 1. Duannes legs are deeply compressed, even with magic to break his fall in 2, he is swinging him over and around, in 3, Lemuel does not have magic so he has to put his whole body into shoving his sword through 2 people. 7) Love the use of simple points for the eyes to connotative a simple thought in 6th panel. 8) Dat 7th panel do...thats gotta become a wall paper.
