Apologies if you've already answered this in a previous comment section, but is Vampire's skin color like that because of his age, or just naturally darker than someone like Roger?

Oi! Duane never sacrificed his lads. Nothing hypocritical about him wanting to cast his boot aspect up some jacksies. Lemuel's "they were only boys" thing can sort of be read two ways too. As a warning to Duane to not react because it doesn't matter "they were only boys" or as disgust that they killed them even though they were "just boys". His facial expression kind of makes it seem like the former at first glance, even though it's clearly not.
