2020 is still fresh and crisp, and here's the start of a new Unsounded chapter to celebrate.
Though 15 is a return to form after the interlude of 14. While Duane's behaviour takes an ugly dive thanks to a bunch of new ideas put into his head by the clarity with which his stoopid zombie brain served up those days with the Order, Sette is very happy to put her adventurin' life on hiatus for the ready acceptance her new friends Sara, Siya, and Ruffles offer her. The world may be breaking to bits outside the shrine's walls, but these girls are full of a sort of hope and happiness that you don't see much in cutthroat Sharteshane. Sette's quickly hooked.
But the world won't stay at bay forever. News of the new ill sentiment towards two-toes is bound to get in. We know stuffy Captain Hetr is headed this way with an imprisoned Captain Toma and Elka. And we were with the gang when they stumbled upon a battle upriver that played out way too close to this place to be a coincidence. In all likelihood this shrine is not a sanctuary at all, and they've stumbled right into something potentially ugly.
We shall see how it all plays out!

Hey Jonas! Kasslyne has always existed with surprising wholeness inside my head. I only very rarely have to struggle to conclude how something works, or if something exists or not; it's almost more like i'm remembering details of a fantasy world than conjuring them, which sounds insane. For the storyline, I work from an outline, so that helps keeps events organised and character motivations clear. Can't travel without a map, right? We're getting close to the point when a lot of components start to draw together, particularly in regards to Queen Sonorie's schemes. You'll have to let me know if those components were all seeded well enough!
How on earth can you keep consistency in the Unsounded universe? I'm re-reading almost everything from the beginning every time you start a new chapter, so I wouldn't miss any small details or connections to something in earlier chapters, which I might have forgotten :D
