Siya so badly wants to get to know him better, but Duane's not going to have it. Look how scary he is in the fifth panel; just makes Siya think he's even cooler~

There is so much to love here... That Sette portrait in Duane's journal is so beautiful. She looks like a real little girl. Her expression is so Sette; maybe hurt and scared, but all the more resolved to move forward because of it. Siya is making one of my all time favourite wise observations: it is easier to destroy than to create. (His reply breaks my heart.) I also wish Duane would allow her to know him better; he could probably help her escape what her religion has in store for her: a destruction that is truly a wicked waste.
