That time there were blood, dead girl, Sette in their hands and night was near. Now it,s a daytime. Duane jockes about his rotten lung and smiles like a madman. Few pages before he almost randomly talked about how good it could be to eat some woman's flesh. Every moment after his wake up with that "beautiful" quote is uncommonly creepy.
He goes dark whenever facing Crescians. The first time we saw him do it, he whacked off a man's arm.

I dunno... if they don't want people thinking everything is a nefarious plot they should probably cut back on the nefarious plotting a bit. And maybe remove the dead babies from the cupboard.
It seems to be the creepiest duane's stuff i remember. Like he takes the real pleasure of his undead traits.
