And we know that they all went to Cresce after fleeing Alderode. We also know that the Chief had to have gotten all of Vienne's work from SOMEWHERE, and a sneaky memory bank inside Uaid's eye ain't a bad place. Makes sense if you know your husband despises what you're making and is never likely to look it in the face more than he has to.

Maybe I am making too much out of the flames reflected in there, yet somehow I feel that during her delving of the khert, she might have stumbled into glimpses of the future Lady I showed Duane...

Why store the plans? For the use of others, one day. Hopefully the *right* others, but you do what you can. Why store other secrets? If the other secrets are memories, we seldom have much choice about storing them. They kinda store themselves. But Uaid didn't want them and tried to stuff them in the darkest part of his artificial mind, so he didn't have to look at them.
