Not too complicated a maneuver to clock a dad in the head when he's suddenly panicking over his son though. She can't stick around and finish him off, fortunately. Chief's a little concerned over the fact that the headmistress has a self-destruct spell in a safe for occasions such as today, and who knows if she's feeling twitchy enough to use it. Chief needs to get her people evacuated noooow.
I had wondered how Quigley would react to that info, but decided it really wouldn't have changed his plans - probably would have encouraged him to move a little faster, even.

Quigley is a mess. Even been beaten by his own reflection, like my cat Dave. In fact, it wouldn't surprise me if Quigley is soon defeated by Matty in bare-knuckle fisticuffs.
