Have you ever been so depressed that you started to loathe people who love you because it feels like they're chaining you to an existence you're desperate to escape?

I still remember how everyone used to hate on him in the comments, back when he was still working for the Red Berry Boys, before eventually warming up to him in later chapters. In contrast, he was my favourite character from the get go. I do love my morally questionable pretty men after all. But compared to the rest of the cast who fit that description, he felt the most relatable. So while I understand why the pendulum of opinions on him is currently swinging back to disdain for many, it does make me a bit sad that someone as clearly broken as him does not get much compassion.
