We had to go through a lot of pages of random destruction and mayhem, and I know they weren't terribly gripping, but I think they were necessary to keep the events in scale. We zoom in more on our heroes next; as Duane says, everyone needs to guard their heart.

"The dead are here, and they are armed" is a bone chilling sentence
Duane's expression in the second to last panel of the first page is wonderful. As is his advice. But... Is night falling, or is the stress just getting to our undead hero? In either case, I hope that image of Lem and Leysa is dark imagining and not a sixth sense. (Lem never seemed that interested in women, but being in love with his brother's wife might appear much the same.)
