I think this is her tragic flaw, and probably the thing that drew Prakhuta to using her. Anadyne made gestures towards compassion, but when push came to shove she went right along with the very systems she claimed to find repugnant - bit like Duane, eh?
It's not fair to expect any single person to step up and reject the myriad evils and injustices of our world, but then it rings a little hollow when they decry those evils. You gotta walk the walk.
Alternately, flip the table over and have a tantrum when you realise what a shit you were, and decide the whole system has to go, and anyone that stands in the way of that goal is a justifiable sacrifice.

I read a book about sex workers many years ago. Among the girls (and they were mostly girls, not adult women) who hadn't succumbed to self-loathing, drugs and/or despair, there was a lot of impotent fury: an enraged hatred of men. Ana's psychology makes sense given her life experiences.

She wanted to learn it so men couldn't overpower her. A woman generally can't fight a man physically so pymary is her best bet. She wasn't like Vienne who had a creative passion for the art, or Mikaila or Elka who wanted to learn it in order to fit into a national force. Ana wanted to learn it so she could have some perceived worth other than her looks or her body. There are lots of other things she could have pursued to that end. It's telling that she chose pymary and even more telling that she specifically chose martial pymary. There has always been a part of her that wanted to be the one forcing others to follow her orders; that wanted to have power enough to be in charge. A lot of this is subtextual. The comic doesn't outright tell it; you have to look at Ana's actions, and interpret them :)

I'm pretty sure it was mentioned in the tumblr but I'm looking in the comic for somthing more explicit, if it wasn't to be a "enforcer" why else would ana learn pymary while working for Stockard? I mean she and Toby had that happily ever after pipe dream going on, no magic missiles required. although she wouldn't be standing on just her 2 feet all independent wo-man style with 4 feet you can dance a pretty mean tango
