How interesting, twin beasts, we’ve seen that exact wording before, bolded in the book in Duane’s conscious trip in the khert in chapter 15 I think. “Twin beasts flank your road to me, hungry chaperones. the burdened, the dull, the desirous will have their life stripped from their bones” sounds a little like setts’s ability to strip memories. My pet theory might just be coming true!
