It figures "Help us or the lizard will" was a uncompleted thought all along. I kinda felt it might be the case. Classic case of the Multilayered Cope Prose. (Speaking of which, I am real glad in moments like these that I had not been working on a fan translation because I am not sure I could, Cope.) Anyway, let's say that the people on Discord who feel the "run away"/"runaway" thing would be too far-fetched a play on words might wish to pay extra attention to this here bit of dialogue... just sayin'.
