She would have had a similar - if less incensed - reaction. The curse doesn't operate in isolation. It's also building on a solid regiment of good ol' fashioned disinformation and propaganda. Roger also being a Copper and very wealthy would have done him no favours in the eyes of a working class Plat woman.

My understanding is that the Aldish Dammakhert "features" don't work in Juste. They are blocked by design. Hence, the reason why Bastion could have no Etalarche reaction in Juste when Ruck whipped Roger out to show off.

This makes me wonder what Vienne's reaction would have been if someone asked her about Roger while in Juste. Would she have reconsidered or would the curse have had enough inertia?
