I hope Duane did not surprise you too terribly. He has his reasons. Well, I think we know his reasons. There wasn't much that happened in the shrine to change his opinion on Queen Sonorie - just to make him hesitate a moment before remembering who he is. And Duane does not subscribe to the popular theory that his brother killed him. He just doesn't. He can't. That leaves Queen Sonorie.
Anyway, we'll get to hear all about it.

I firmly believe a compelling character's tier ranking throughout their story should not be a flatline, but a spiking jigjag, like a heart monitor reading. Otherwise they're dead ;)

I HATE to say this. Like REALLY HATE to admit this. It bubbles my guts as I type it out but; Lemuel was Right. Everything he said at the shrine was correct. Duane is now c tier
