Yikes, hope you don't have to wait long! Buddy of mine in Tampa lost power around for around 12 hours, got it back on about 5am. I expected flooding in Largo but got lucky. Well here's to hoping the mosquitoes aren't insane by tomorrow.

I feel like I disagree but I'm a fan of araki's we saved this kid only for him to die because of cold he got in prison's style of writing. He writes every character like they are the protagonist of their story then kills them off to show that life is unfair.

I'm pondering the implications for the comic and the border (sometimes animated) if Sessine had succeeded with her plan. Would the comic just have ended...? Fade to static? Or would the comic border have turned... hungrily... towards the reader...? I can't imagine that Sessine's return to the physical world would turn out well. She seems determined to outdo the most fiendish of Lovecraft's eldrich horrors (rotten old racist that he was, his monsters are memorable).

Me, previous update: 'Rahm might survive because he didn't have any truck with Ruck! That's a totally logical conclusion to come to!' Or he could've just taken the thing off at night like a hat or pair of glasses, lawl. Makes sense though, given what happened earlier, and I'm happy he's ultimately survived being a part of this story. Nice callback to Nary's meeting with Jab re: 'they'll make their way'. While the situation and phrasing was cold, he seemed to trust that Sette would be able to take agency for herself and get along without him. And now she expresses the same sentiment about her friends - most excellent.
