If there's one thing a Sette like her might fear most of all, I think it would be love and sympathy and empathy and understanding, from one impossible to dismiss as as unable to understand. Violence is cheap and easy to meet with violence, like fighting fire with oil - but genuine empathy would be terrifying and impossible to fight.

I find it interesting that the eels run from Sette rather than fight her (or heed her). Also, if Settes can rip the memories from other Settes, one has to wonder what ours took from First with that eye. (Duane's line is seemingly gone, I wonder if that's textual or simply visual). Also also, First telling Sette she's powerless, which he likely wouldn’t be doing if it were true. Think, sweetness, what is First *doing* by saying that? Why would he admit it rather than watch you flail? It's a demotivater followed by a distraction. (Poor Boo is pulling double time over there, they deserve skritches when this is all over. And Sette needs a nap. Probably also a can of those strawberry fish.)

Oh boy she's monologuing again! Quick, eat more of her body parts so they won't regrow! Jokes aside, that first soul doesn't seem to like Khette much. Maybe it's all those extra years or spent with Sette, gaining sympathy, a sense of right and wrong, and a good friend in Duane. Perhaps little Frummagem can use this to her advantage.
