I know there's a lot of talk about how Duane spent too much time posing as the hard-hearted nationalist bastard Alderode encourages and not enough time letting out the gentler, truer version of himself that sees the value in everyone and loves children... but perhaps Duane's truest self is the guy who waxes eloquently. This scene is such a nice parallel to a scene where Sette was seeking out Duane looking for reconciliation, I love this webcomic so much. I'm so worried that Sette is dead or her soul has been torn off
