Okay, here it goes! I'm fearing that Khette is going to escape the Khert with Duane in tow, where she takes the joke "you're my attack zombie" far too literally. The two go to Alderode looking for Sette's brother. Meanwhile, our Sette continues to exist, and...this is where it gets wild, but she gets in contact with the only person who might still care about Duane, Miki. Both daughters have to work together to save their dad (tho at first Miki just looks at it like stopping a monster).

Oh, Khette…. Girl learns she can cut away memories and immediately tears herself to pieces. I’m sad for Sette Frummagem but I have a lot of sympathy for Khette; I don’t know that I would’ve done any different, in her shoes

Lady I was confident she could put Khette's mind into Sette F's body, imo the same thing she did with Murkoph, so there's at least the idea that they could do the same with Sette F's mind. Maybe the plod factory will be useful for this, we know the book's climax is happening there.

Well I have to admire the apotheosis glow-up, even though I wasn't expecting her to be able to utiluse the Soul so readily! Sessine didn't seem to think it possible - but then Sessine didn't know about the possibilities Sette was creating, which may have affected the Soul's properties...? 🤔 That or First is gravely overestimating her hold on it. Regardless I'd say it's time for Sette to return the god metaphor favour and take a Yerta-bite out of First Tirna, but OHHH SHE ALREADY DID THAT [snaps fingers weakly]
