That third panel speaks to an epoch of abandonment and fear and pain and loneliness and loss; remember how she was raised - remember how she died. I cannot fully blame a child of endless abuse for venting it on a worthy target upon suddenly gaining real power for herself and facing the dread and terrible hope of real freedom. I don't know that I'd act much differently.

I'm not sure she can make Duane do that. I'm working off a gut feeling here, but Sette Frummagem wasn't able to command the squishies, and Duane just went through a lot of soul-searching... I feel like he's probably given up a lot of his personal eels. Commanding Duane not to end himself is different from commanding him to defile a corpse. He might be able to resist.
