Homestuck isn't the best story thing ever or anything (the first thousand pages are a little slow, then it kicks into gear when the second set of characters show up) but I do think it's taken advantage of the format possibilities of the internet more than anything else I've seen. (There are probably even more innovative ones that I've never seen; considering how traditionalist comic readers on the netoweb have turned out to be, one of the most remarkable things about Homestuck is just that it was as popular as it was.) Also, hey, if you feel that bad about it, you can still read it, y'know.

This is some of the most creative thing I have ever seen in a webcomic. Your old art site was a lovely blast from the past . I used to enjoy going there back when I first started reading Unsounded a decade ago. Well done. And poor Sette. Hopefully, Boo can cheer her up.

Yeah, I can only think of two other webcomics (that I know) that done something on this level. Edit: and even then – one of closer to a level of Murkoph taking a knife out of the chapter art template (although a bit higher level than that– that webcomic had a permanent change to the about page done)

I've seen other webcomics utilize the medium in similarly creative ways, but to my knowledge Ashley was among the first and continues to innovate and try new approaches, and I've never seen anything exactly like this before. If you like meta-breaking webcomics though, I humbly suggest All Night Laundry.

I gasped at being able to follow Boo around. I love it! And following him to the update comments page where you’re all “Boo! What are you doing here!?” Duane seems like he was able to resist the order! He’s paying heavily for it, but he resisted!

The way I had a giant smile on my face clicking through this! Just utter delight, even through this horror. Absolutely incredible. You've always utilized this medium so creatively, but this really knocked it out of the park. This reminded me of the old Peter Pan musical of my childhood, where the audience had to clap to bring Tinkerbell back to life.
