Speaking of kills: is that it for Khette now? The Softi flowers suggest it. Also, I get flashbacks of Knock: she didn't realize she was dead, and Sette's apparently forgotten it. Or is the lion part of a plan to get her body and soul back together?

No need for apologies. I am not complaining. I find it genuinely impressive that Unsounded, of all things, holds 3 out of 5 instances (that I can think of immediately, off the top of my head) of fiction making me react this way. And while I am not into gory horrors or the like, I've seen quite a few, not to mention RL things I've been exposed to. So, yeah. I suppose I just care about this story maybe a bit too much at times :)

Mmm, and think how she feels; I find it not difficult to sympathize with her, despite her orneryness towards our mains. She had no idea this would be done to her until the day it was, by her family and those who worshiped and loved her; and it wasn't done kindly. Maybe this one's okay to forget.
