Its going to be very interesting seeing who Duane and Sette are, both to each other and themselves, after this. The idea of losing very specific memories is so fundamentally alien that it stands to reason it could alter your core personality.

Well, Unsounded cheats a little in that regard by playing so literally with memories. But yeah, it does sometimes make it a little easier to mesh action with emotion with character development.

I didn't want First to succeed because of what it would have cost. I'm sad to see her fail nonetheless. Poor little symbol. In another life... if the plan had worked, in many... but no. Too many authors stacked against her to escape.

I neglected to mention Monday but one of a billion things I wish battle manga took from your comic is how you folded the antagonist’s tragic backstory into the climatic blow instead of obliging us to read/watch on for the next dozen chapters while the author tries to makes the audience feel guilty for rooting for the protagonists. It’s almost like their tragic flaws should be their undoing instead of their subpar power levels
