He has so much warring inside of him, from his recent revelation about Lemuel, to his nasty fight with Ilganyag, to the little Sette clone ripping into him, to Sette herself being DEAD - he's gone a bit numb. He's in some ways as scattered and confused as First Sette was on the last page, and in a bit of a daze.
But he's gonna do his best, and he'll come around as he talks. It's helpful for him to talk. It's what he's best at o_o
Big update on Monday though, I don't want to drag this conversation out.

Wehhh. I very much like Sette coming to acknowledge this is a two way street also! He pulls down his hood, signalling he's here and listening... but it's not easy! What if he doesn't like the truth? She's always skirted around it, ducked half the hands he HAS extended. ...But Sette darling please make that leap soon, your flesh is turning colours π

I appreciate that the moment where Sette learns she has no current control over Duane or Boo is this quiet one, rather than during a power play between Settes. (Also, I like that Sette F is having the same eel problem that we keep seeing First have; they are one of a feather.)
