Are they in time for this crowd of good vibes to defeat the First Silver monster and the memories of pain that have driven it half-way across the world? Or is it too late!
This is our last scene of the chapter, though it moves around a bit. Buckle up.
I've spent the last week editing the earliest chapters for new print books, and looking at all that old art and then comparing it to the newest is - I must say - rather gratifying :) We've been doing this for a long time, haven't we, guys?

We know that Jivvi et al are outside of the barrier whereas Chea et al are inside, and that the Squishes are all outside, so the remaining question for how this plays out is whether or not the Squishes can get through the barrier (unlikely) (I guess the barrier could also just be dropped). The separation of Squishes and the silver skeleton could serve as a cause for why the silver will still be active and an unmitigated threat in the next book. However, it also opens the possibility that the Squishes are unable to reach Chea, therefore her fate is all-in-all unknown. (The Discord is mostly in agreement that we think she'll be saved for narrative purposes, why make Toma lose his fatherhood now when absentee parenthood is part of the core themes?). I will note that the silver's sillhoutte more closely looks like Lady I and can possible act as what we saw in one of those yet-to-be-explained visions of the future (the intact First Soul, how the memory was found without a source). That'd mean Sette will manhandle some more silver, I'll probably double back to try and reclarify the specifics. Words. (Also, I really like how the khert fire plays off of the eels.)

I think this will be the definitive edition. I've been working to fix that problem of some text balloons slipping down into the spine and being hard to read. I think I got it!

I've gotten used to using Unsounded as a way to measure time. Oh there's an update, so it must be Monday. Oh it's been a hiatus and a chapter since I saw that cousin.

Going back to Chapter 1 to find Sette definitely put into perspective how much your art has evolved, Ashley. Here's hoping for years more to come of the world of Unsounded and it's characters! Also, placing my bet now that the Squish army makes it in time.
