When that's the case, a plod handler trots their stinky labourer down to the nearest plod facility, and the mask is cleaned and fitted on a new body. We saw a whole wall of coolers with prepared bodies in it when Jivi and Quigley first breached this nasty hellhole earlier in the chapter.
