I was dead hungry to see more Sette and Jivi together in the new book and I'm beyond ecstatic to see it arrive so soon, on Ssael this will be my year. Love them to bits!!!

80% of those four pages are legit; the other 20% are things that will instantly give you away as a mark. Which is still a massive improvement over previous editions where that 20% would have gotten you killed.

Fermented then diluted. Can't give kids the really heavy stuff.

Jivi has learned to handle her pretty well at this point. Best friends!!

I really love that the brief aldish guide book is massive and the exhaustive sharteshanian guidebook is itty bitty like a pamphlet

An excellent mix of emotion and comedy

Also I love how small the Sharte guide is compared to the Aldish one

Jivi really is a tip top lad, look at him trying to take care of his besties. I love how he’s more easily able to see through Sette- not only is she being openly upset and wailin’ over Duane, but at this point Jivi really is able to take it in stride. Great distraction, kiddo.

Is the cider fermented, or more of a fresh juice in the American style?

True as that is, this might be a bit of an over-share gone off the rails!

I wrote a glossary of terms at my old job, so people outside our section could have a sporting chance at understanding WTF we were talking about. It was about the length of that Sharte guide Jivi has. Probably 50% was "made up Scottish words" a fellow we called Dodgson would use in normal conversation. "Wain" (baby), "pieces" (sammiches), "oos" (assorted lint and detritis one got on their shirt), "cludgie" (the dunny), "hunners" (any number greater than 3 when you can't be fucked counting) and so many, many more... Ken had more than one entry.

Oi! There are people trying to translate your work, you know! On another note, I was not sure after the first book that Sette would let herself be so vulnerable again, I feared that her time in the khert would be a one-off in that area, but it feels good to see her able to share her anguish and find care for herself.

Comic relief at it's best lol
